Kenneth M. Washington was born March 14, 1950 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina and departed to his heavenly home on May 2, 2019. He was the son of the late James K. and Rosalee Washington.
During his life, Kenneth was employed with the City of Monroe in the sanitation department and later moved to the landscaping department. As a young child he was a member Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. In his adult years, he joined Elizabeth Baptist Missionary Baptist Church where he was a served on the Men’s Choir and Usher Board. As well, he represented The Black Men of Monroe.
Kenneth leaves to cherish is loving Wife: Patricia Chambers Washington of Monroe, North Carolina; his two daughters: Kineta Washington of Gastonia, North Carolina and LaShiva Washington of Monroe, North Carolina; two sons: Michael Washington (Iris Crowder) and Patrick Washington both of Monroe, North Carolina.
He was preceded by his two brothers: James Washington, Jr. and George Washington; sister: Otherene Hill and Brother in law: Lee A. Ross. He also leaves his two loving sisters: Beatrice Ross of Capital Heights, Maryland and Marjorie Thomas of Washington, D.C and a host of grandchildren, a great- grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
