LaRun Carelock

LaRun Carelock departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 16, 2019. LaRun was born to Larry and Evelyn Carelock on February 11, 1975 in Chesterfield, South Carolina.

LaRun accepted Christ at an early age and recently rededicated his life to the Lord. LaRun attended Monroe High School and was apart of the class of 1994. He was a entrepreneur, painter, construction worker, auto mechanic and owned his own towing service and  a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. He had a smile that would light up the room.

He was preceded in death by three grandparents: Clyde and Bernice Carelock and Boyce Funderburk, Sr.

He is survived by his parents: Larry and Evelyn Carelock of Monroe, North Carolina; one son: Quatavis Carelock “Kell” of Monroe, North Carolina; one daughter:  Adeysia Carelock of Pageland, South Carolina; one sister: Chantel Cureton of Charlotte, North Carolina; one brother: Nickco Carerlock of Monroe, North Carolina; grandmother: Mrs. Annie Mae Funderburk of Pageland, South Carolina; one niece: Shanice Carelock  of Pageland, South Carolina; two nephews: Nicquavis of Monroe, North Carolina and Zaylen Doster of Buford, North Carolina; a special aunt: Carolyn Brewer of Burnsville, North Carolina and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
