Mr. Shawn Antonio Horton was born July 14, 1972 to the late Calvin Ray and Ruby Horton of Matthews, North Carolina. He departed this life on March 8, 2019 in Matthews, North Carolina.

He was educated in the Union County Public School system. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Horton and father, Calvin Ray Horton. He spent 20 years in the landscaping business. He was also skilled in Painting and Roofing.

He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories: Son: Antonio Horton of Palatka, Florida; Three sisters: Barbara Lee (Pastor Eddie Lee) of Charlotte, North Carolina; Mary Ann Wright of Waxhaw, North Carolina; Nicole Oates (Alfred) of Matthews, North Carolina; Five brothers: Stanley Johnson (Norma) of Lilburn, Georgia, Billy Johnson of Matthews, North Carolina, Master Sgt. Samuel Horton, Jr (Linda) of Augusta, Georgia, Issac Audrey of Charlotte, North Carolina, Clarence Audrey of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Special Brother: Arthur White (Pamela) of Winston Salem, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
