Albert Lewis Hailey

A loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Mr. Albert Lewis Haley, was born in Wingate, NC. Union County , November 1, 1948.  He was the son of the late Millard Hailey, Sr and the late Leatha Mae Crowder Hailey. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Atrium Healthcare Center in Monroe, North Carolina.

He attended East Union High School  in Marshville, NC. where he received his education. He was employed by multiple roofing companies where he developed many skills of roofing and construction. His hobbies were gathering around others telling jokes and making you laugh and mad. To know Him, you had a love hate relationship because of his way communicating with you if by ways of disagreements then you would  meet Pearl. Albert loved al his kids he had a great love for animals. 

Albert attended Nicey Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age where this was known to be his family church. He was also a member of the Mighty Wonders Gospel Groups of Wingate, NC. where he sung with his brothers, cousins and friends. 

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Millard Hailey, Sr,. and Mrs. Leatha Mae Crowder Hailey, thee brothers: Millard Hailey, Jr., Nesbert Lee Hailey, James Edward Hailey, three sisters: Irene Hailey Miller, Mildred Hailey Leak and Vickie Virginia Gail Hailey. Three brother-in-laws: Robert Lee Miller, Sr., Lloyd Henry Leak and Andre Jones. One sister-in-law: Ruth Sturdivant Hailey, and two son-in-laws: Cleveland Donnell Garmon and Derrick Eugene Huntley.

He leaves to cherish loving and fond memories his four sons: Patrick Colston and Redrick Lewis Hailey (Lisa) both of Charlotte, NC. Aaron Lewis Hailey (Connie) of Monroe, NC. Tony Chambers of Albemarle, NC. Daughters: Esther Turner an Brenda Denise Hailey of Fayetteville, NC. Lisa Renee Huntley of Wadesboro, NC. Fayla Croombs of Southern, CA. and Toniya Porter (Michael) of Indian Trail, NC. Brothers: Willie Bob Hailey and Grady Wilson Hailey both of Marshville, NC. Sisters: Berthia Jones, Willette Hough, Konya Ann Hailey Williams (Mac) all of Charlotte, NC. Brenda Carol Hailey NcNeil  (Devone) of Marshville, NC. Cathey Flowers of Indian Trail, N.C.  twenty-two grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
