Ms. Bertha Lee Crosby Hester, daughter of the late Norman and Ruby Adams Crosby was born April 14, 1949 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina.. Bertha departed this life on Friday, October 9, 2020 at Atrium Health -Union, Monroe, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her son: David Washington and sister: Lenora Crosby.
Bertha was a God loving, phenomenal woman, she worked at Oro Manufacturing Company for forty-two years an d loved spending time with her family.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters: Maryann Washington and Andrea Covington (John) of Wingate, North Carolina. Son: Michael Hester of the home. Brothers: Norman Crosby, Jr. Ricky Crosby and Michael Crosby all of Wingate, North Carolina .Grandchildren: Tyeda, Whitney, Amber all of Pageland, South Carolina. Oshanaya of Monroe, North Carolina. Mashad, Jayla, Aralynn, Darion all of Wingate, North Carolina. Three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
