Betty Jean Chambers Obituary

A loving, caring, dedicated , special woman has left our midst. Her devotion as a wife, her affection as a
mother, grandmother, and aunt. Her love as a sister, her compassion in helping others, her comfort as a
friend will be treasured by many. She was a sweet gentle giving person who touched the lives of many as
she traveled through this journey on earth. She was a prayer warrior who loved the Lord. She loved
cooking, she loved her church and she was the International Mother of Grace and Mercy Cathedral

Ministry and Kingdom Ministry International Fellowship.

Betty Jean Chambers was born to the union of the late Cecil Jessie and Eliza Jane Ross on October 11,
1947. Betty Jean transitioned from labor to reward on January 28, 2022 at Novant Health Matthews
Medical Center in Matthews, North Carolina. Confessing Christ at a early age, she joined Cappadocia
GFBH Church in the Burnsville Community. She served in many areas of ministry until the Lord spoke
to her and said she is the one to take care of her pastor Apostle Annette Ross. She served as head
adjacent faithfully. Once the transition to Grace and Mercy Cathedral Ministries in Charlotte, North
Carolina. She was given the honor of the International Mother of KMIF and served faithfully until her
health declined.

She was married to Mr. Marvin H. Chambers and to this union one was born Towanda Lashawn Cham-
bers who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death is two sisters: Ollie Virginia and Olivia

Ross; five brothers: Cecil Jessie, Jr., Cecil Jessie, Jr. II, Joe Glenn, Julian Clyde and Lonnie Ross,.
Memories of love will be cherished in the hearts of her loving husband of 49 years: Mr. Marvin H.
Chambers; her children: Charles Edward Colston of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jacqueline Denis
Colston of Monroe, North Carolina, Sabrina (Overseer Myron) Williams of Concord, North Carolina,
Adrian (Andrea) Autry of Syracuse, New York, Rodney (Cassandra) Hubbard of Monroe, North
Carolina; two sisters: Jeanette (Overseer Mitchell) Watkins of Norwood, North Carolina and Valerie
Jean (Randolph) Marsh of Polkton, North Carolina; brothers: Bishop James (Virginia) Ross, Donnie
(Apostle Annette) Ross, Eddie T. Ross all of Charlotte, North Carolina, Frederick Odell Ross,
Alexander (Laura) Ross of Polkton, North Carolina; 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a

host of nieces, nephews; 2 foster sisters: Elder Betty Colston and Peggy Funderburk, many brother-in-
law and sister-in-law a special sister-in-law and friend, Arrie Ann Chambers, for god children: Marcus, Jayquan and Misty Chambers, Deanna Shaw.
