Bobby Lee Horne Obituary

Bobby Lee Horne
(“Sir Mo” or “Spooky”)
April 13, 1967 – October 19, 2025

Bobby Lee Horne, known to the world as “Sir Mo” and to his loved ones as “Spooky,” passed away on October 19, 2025, in ICU in Dallas, Texas. Born on April 13, 1967, in North Carolina, Bobby lived a life full of passion, strength, and heart — a man whose presence could light up a room and whose kindness touched countless souls.

Bobby proudly served in the military before pursuing his dream of professional wrestling, where he became the Crown Heavyweight Tag Team Champion of the WWF alongside his late partner and dear friend, Nelson Frazier Jr. (who passed in 2014). Together, they captured the hearts of fans around the world. Even after his time in the ring, Bobby’s love for wrestling never faded. He dedicated himself to mentoring young wrestlers — men and women alike — helping them open doors to major wrestling companies and find their own voices both inside and outside the ring. His legacy as a mentor and friend lives on through the many lives he inspired.

Above all, Bobby was a family man. He loved his family — and everyone who became part of it — with every fiber of his being. He is survived by his children, John Lorentz, Kaisaan Horne, Hillare Carter, Bobby Horne Jr., Christian Carter, Matthew Carter, and Christa Ingram. His siblings, Gerald Horne, Chanda Allen, Debbie Allen, and Sheila Crowder. As well as a host of nieces and nephews , 13 grandkids and beloved significant other, Denise Jones, and her four children(Chelsea Gannon, Caitlin Smith, Caleb Jones, Channing Jones).

He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Margaret Brenda Allen (2016) and Billy Ray Allen(2023) and his brother Rodney Allen (1999).

Those who knew Bobby will remember his selflessness — the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back even when he was in need himself. He lived his life by example, putting others before himself and leaving behind a legacy of compassion, mentorship, and love. His impact stretched far beyond the wrestling ring; it reached into hearts and homes all over the world.

Bobby Lee Horne was more than an athlete, more than a mentor — he was a light in the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will continue to inspire all who had the honor of calling him family, friend, or teacher.

“He may have left the ring, but his fight, his heart, and his love will live on forever.”
