Mrs. Carolyn Rushing Hamilton, daughter of the late James and Avis Griffin Rushing was born March 11, 1946 in Union County, North Carolina. And departed this life on Monday, May 25, 2020 at her home in Marshville, North Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Her son: Harold Rushing of Monroe, North Carolina. Daughters: Mina Hamilton of Atlanta, Georgia. and Stephanie Hamilton of Pineville, North Carolina. Brother: William "Bob" Rushing of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
