Christie Denise Duncan

Christie Denise Duncan (Neesie) was born April 8, 1956 to the late Mary Belle Deese and Reuben Waters, Sr. in Monroe, North Carolina. Neesie departed her life on earth on August 2, 2021, to go be with our Heavenly Father.

Neesie was a member of the Jehovah Witness and attended Kingdom Hall.

Neesie loved taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved taking care of her home, working in her yard and caring for her two pets, Sandy and Honey.

Neesie was preceded in death by her parents: Mary Deese and Reuben Waters, Sr.; sister: Clara Melton; brother: Reuben Waters, Jr.; son: Eric Maske; grandson: Marquies Waters; and sister-in-law: Vera Sigers.

Neesie leaves to cherish her fond memories to her husband: Cleveland Jerome Duncan of Marshville, North Carolina; sons: Jeffery Watersof Jefferson, South Carolina and Cleveland Lamont Waters (Chanequa) of Monroe, North Carolina; daughters: Mary Ann Knotts (Caliph) of Monroe, North Carolina, Tasha Maske of Wadesboro, North Carolina, Sharell Waters of Marshville, North Carolina and Shaunte Waters of Monroe, North Carolina; sisters: Lavern Williams of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Rosalind Waters of Monroe North Carolina, and Della Waters Garland of Monroe, North Carolina; brothers: Freddie Sigers of Monroe, North Carolina, Donald Ray Waters of Winston Salem and Martin Waters (Sharon) of Wadesboro, North Carolina and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, cousins, and friends.
