Our dearly beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend Clarese Barrett Caudle transitioned on
September 22, 2025. Clarese was born November 10, 1950, to the late James Alton Simon and Pearlie Barrett.
She was educated and graduated from the Prince Georgia County School system but was a faithful member with
the classmates and activities of the East Union High School Class of 1968. She was a dedicated employee at
Hosiery Mills then worked for over 25 years at Label Manufactory before returning to school and obtaining her
Associate degree from Rutledge College and later joining their staff as a Financial Aid counselor.
