Mrs. Claudette Miller Washington, daughter of the late Leroy Barnes and Undine Miller Massey, was born March 18, 1938 in Union County, North Carolina. And departed this life on Sunday, April 5, 2020 in New York, New York.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Phonolia Lee and Patricia Houston

She leaves to cherish her memories: Son: Eschell Washington of New York, New York. Daughters: Nadia Silva, Qwanette Washington and Shandora Washington of New York, New York. Three brothers: David Barnes, Will Barnes and Robert Barnes all of Waxhaw, North Carolina. five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
