Mrs. Curtis Geneva Davis was born on August 31, 1945 to the late Pink and Lessie Cureton Davis in Union County, North Carolina. She went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2021.
At an early age she became a member of Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Zion where she served as a member of the choir, became head Deaconess and took on many duties to the church and the members .
Once she graduated from Western Union High School, she worked several jobs until she landed her favorite position at Allsa Mills..
Curtis married Ovell Davis on October 9, 1965, he preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Bill Davis and Thom Davis and two sisters: Nemiah Jordan and Lessie Huey and granddaughter: Akeiba White.
She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: her children: Wade Davis (Jennifer), Cheryl Lindsay (Lewis), Morven Davis (Claudine), Melinda Garris (Brice) and Melissa Turner (Rodney). A host of grandchildren, Chasity Reid (Darren), Porsche Smith, Chavonn Smith, Lewis Lindsay, Jr. Brandon Davis. Her sisters: Ms. Morden Davis, Ms. Elpositer Hood of Waxhaw, North Carolina. Ms. Carolyn Petty of Charlotte, North Carolina and brother: James Davis (Shirley) of Charlotte, North Carolina. And a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
