Erica Nevaeha McKinney

Erica Nevaeh McKinney was born June 7, 2006, in Monroe, North Carolina to Brittany Williams and Eric McKinney, she transcended to her heavenly address on September 2, 2020 at Atrium at Waxhaw. Preceded in death by Great-grandmother Pearlie Mae McKinney, aunt Sherry McKinney, and grandfather Donnie Carelock. Erica was a freshman at Parkwood High School in Monroe, North Carolina. She was smart, friendly, outgoing and well liked. In her spare time, she enjoyed hanging out with her family and friends. Erica dedicated her life to Christ and worked diligently in the church. She was always a willing worker, ready to do what was needed. She was an active member of the youth choir, Children of Zion and on the Junior Usher Board. Erica is survived by her mother, Brittany Williams of Marshville, NC, father, Eric McKinney of Pineville, NC. Her sisters Brianna McKinney, Mariah McKinney, Tayanna and Alysha Williams, Aaliyah McKinney and Ariaunna Smith. Her brothers Jashae and Javion Davis, Bryon, Josiah and Jace Williams, Nisaiah Smith, Amauri and Peyton McKinney. Grandparents Stanley and Sandra McKinney of Waxhaw, NC, Jamie Williams, Jimmy Huntley, and Benjamin Covington (Bonita) of Union County, NC. Great grandmother: Mrs. Zelma Coffey of Monroe, North Carolina. Seven uncles and one aunt. Godparents, Ellis and Philippia Wilcher of Columbia, SC. Favorite Great Aunt Alice and Uncle Lewis Cunningham of Charlotte, NC. Two best friends Tamea English and Ji’ya Cunningham, uncles: Mike Deputy of Phila. Pa.
