Minister Francis Baker, 67, son of Doretha Crowder Baker of Marshville, NC and the late Elebie Baker, was born October 24, 1954 in Chesterfield County, SC and departed this life on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC. Minister Francis was preceded in death by his brothers, Ellis Baker and Paul Baker.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his wife of 47 years, Diane Rushing Baker; sons: Demetrius Baker, Michael Baker (Tanya) both of Concord, NC, and Terrance Huntley (Aneta) of Wingate, NC; daughters: Kimberly Baker and Karissa Cash (Brandon) both of Concord, NC; 2 brothers: Calvin Baker of Concord, NC, and Phillip Baker of Charlotte, NC; 4 sisters: Mable Redfearn of Marshville, NC, Geretha Parker (David) of Monroe, NC, Edith Crowder (Melvin) and Claire Marsh (Carl) both of Marshville, NC; 1 aunt, Mrs. Ollie Mae Little of Trenton, NJ; 1 uncle, Henry Crowder of Charlotte, NC; (23) grandchildren, (17) great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
