Mr. Gary Lorenzo Blount son of Deloris Blount and Gary Rorie was born April 18, 1984 in Union County, North Carolina. And departed this life on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Novant Health in Pineville, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his sister: Katesha Blount, grandmother: Mr. Phyllis Blount and uncle: James Rorie. He attended Monroe High School. Gary loved to fish, sing, act and just keep you laughing, he was a trustworthy person but patience was not his virtue.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His parents: Deloris Blount of Wingate, North Carolina, Father: Gary Rorie of Wingate, North Carolina. Sisters: Shanela Rorie of Monroe, North Carolina. and Shawna Blount of Charlotte, North Carolina. Grandmother: Mrs. Lillie Rorie of Monroe, North Carolina. Aunts: Lutricia Blount, Angel Rorie and Missy Rorie of Monroe, North Carolina. Uncle: Mickey Rorie of Wingate, North Carolina. And a host of other relatives and friends.
