Geraldine (Morrison) Stacks

 Mrs. Geraldine Morrison Stacks, daughter of the late Levi Morrison and Mazie Lucille Homes Morrison was born July 3, 1948 in Union County, North Carolina and departed this life on January 4, 2021 at Atrium Health Union in Monroe, North Carolina.

She was a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church serving over the years on the Missionary Board, Choir and Kitchen Committee. 

One of her most heart felt works was being a part of the outreach missionary that prepared meals for the residents of the House of Mercy. Every 4th Friday she would be found hard at work preparing a home cooked meal just as she would serve her own family. Being a missionary in life was a position she did not take lightly. She not only took every opportunity to share God's goodness with her family, but also with everyone she came in contact with. She was truly a solider in the Army of the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her  husband Clyde Richardson Stacks on December 17, 2020. They were blessed to have 25 years together.

She leaves to cherish her memories: One daughter: Lisa Waddell (Herbert) of Charlotte, NC. One son: Terry Waddell (Alesia) of Monroe, NC. Four sisters: Macie Black, Hallie Anthony (Edward), Elizabeth Threatt (Louis), Diane Johnson (Charles), sister-in-law: Shirley Morrison. Six brothers: Worthell Morrison, Thomas Morrison, Melvin Morrison, Hosea Morrison (Barbara), Eric Morrison (Delorse), Roger Morrison (Kristal), two brother-in-laws: Carl Stacks and Benjamin Stacks (Willette). Eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
