Howard J. Chambers was born on April 16, 1931 in Anson County, North Carolina to the late Howard J. Chambers, Sr. and Daisy Young Chambers.

Howard was the eldest of four children and accepted Christ at An early age. He was a faithful provider and a devoted husband and father. Howard was employed as a machine operator at Manetta Mills in Monroe, North Carolina, where he worked diligently until his retirement.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting and took great pride in his gardening and carpentry skills. Howard was known for his strength and willingness to help others whoever he could.
