James Kelly Deese Sr. 80, son of the late Floyd Deese and Louise Hammond, departed this life on Friday June 2, 2021 at home surrounded by family.  He leaves to mourn his death his Wife, Betty; sons: James (Rose)  of Charlotte, NC, Michael of Harrisburg, NC, and John of Monroe, NC; daughters: Angela (Vernon), Arlene, both of Monroe, NC, and Jameral of Huntersville, NC; brothers: Edward (Susie) of Indian Trail, NC, Jessie of Charlotte, NC, Franklin, and Jerry (Doris) both of Monroe, NC; sisters: Mary Deese and Rachel Williams, both of Monroe, NC, and Carolyn Deese of Wingate, 14 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
