James Edward ("Witt") Maske

James Edward Maske, known as "Witt", Son of the late Mable Sutton Maske and James Theodore Maske and proceeded in death by his Grandmother Owen Maske and his brother, Kent L. Maske, was born August 23, 1956 in Monroe, North Carolina. He departed this life on Friday, December 20, 2019 at his home.  He  accepted Christ at Friendship Baptist Church and attended Winchester High School in Monroe, North Carolina. He worked for many years at Iron Peddlers and Conmet.  He liked to cook, fish, and dance to music.  He was an avid sports fan.  His teams included the Carolina Panthers and the North Carolina Tarheels.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved people in  general.
He leaves fond memories to his wife: Mrs. Paulette Funderburk Maske, stepmother, Elaine M. Maske, he cherished his children, Dreamer Sowell (Lindsey), Chiquita Maske, Fabian Maske, James Jr. Maske, Taylor Langston, and Shawn Funderburk all of Monroe, North Carolina.  Sisters: Sylvia Cooper,  Gwen Nelson (Mike),     Annette Eddy (Micheal), Shenita Medlin, Yolanda Ivey, Melissa Glenn. Brother: Myron Sutton (Margaret), Grandchildren: Gavin, Zavia, Queston, Samiya, Samira, Cordell, Dameko, Dashon, Kendrick, Jovial and Diamen, and (6) Great-Grandchildren.  And host nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
