Rev. James Creft Reid Jr. was the first of fifteen and the oldest son of James Creft Sr. and Mary Bivens Reid.

Rev. James was the Assistant Pastor at The True Word Pentecostal Holiness Church and served in this capacity until his health would no longer allow him to do so, but that didn’t stop him from showing up for services.

Rev. James was preceded in death by his father, James Creft Reid Sr. and his mother, Mary Ruth Bivens Reid.

He leaves to cherish loving memories to his lineage: His Thirteen Children: James Creft Reid Jr. (deceased), Stephanie Reid (deceased), Kenneth (Trina) Reid, Monaca T. Reid, James (Melanie) Reid, Deidre A. Reid, Tina M. Reid, Jennifer R. Reid, Jammie (Quinten) Avery, James C. Reid, Janice Reid, Jeremy Reid and Jalonda Reid, his forty-nine Grandchildren and his seventeen Great Grandchildren.
