James Chester Rorie Jr. 66, son of the late James Chester Rorie Sr. and Mary Gillespie, died April 19, 2021 at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Barrett Rorie; and his children; Quincy Rorie, Misty Knox (Jason) both of Lancaster, SC, Jeremy Rorie of Rockhill, SC, Shaddariaus Barrett, Octavia Barrett Heath (Adam) both of Monroe, NC, and LaShaunda Barrett of Marshville, NC, and 11 grandchildren.
