Mr. James Sisk, Jr. son of the late James Sisk, Sr. and Doris Sisk was born June 19, 1944 in St. Louis, Mo. And departed this life on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Atrium Health Care-Union, Monroe, North Carolina.
He moved to New York when he was one year old and graduated from James O'Neil High School after graduation he joined the United States Army in the Artillery-Combat with a honorable discharge he lived his latter years as a disabled veteran.
He retired from West Point Academy after thirty-four years of devoted service in Heating and as a Mechanic. After retiring the family moved to Monroe, North Carolina. where he joined Langford Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in 1999.
As a devoted Christian he joined several organizations in the church such as the Trustee Board, Choir, and worked as the custodian. He was very serious about how well a church should be kept. He really took that position seriously and served faithfully until his death. He was loved by many and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his sons: James Sisk, III, Dale Hood and Charles Hood and brother: Rodney Sisk. brother-in-law: William Sisk
Survivors: Wife: Mrs. Johnnie Hall Sisk of the home. sons: Santoni Fleming of Charlotte, NC and Curtis Fleming of Fayetteville, NC. Daughters: Deidre Sisk of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Celia Baynes of High Falls, New York and Darvi Baynes of Monroe, North Carolina. Brohter: Lorenzo Sisk (Patricia) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Bernadette Sisk of Las Vegas, Nevada; Shaunilla Sisk of Chicago, Ill and Sonia Sisk-Canady of Lexington, South Carolina. Sister-in-law: Ms. Jackie Sisk. Nine grandchildren. one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends .
