Mr. Jay Bolder passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024. Mr. Bolder’s Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Hopewell Baptist Church of Monroe, 420 Hopewell Church Rd., Monroe, NC 28110. Service time will be 10:00 am. There was a public viewing on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Blakely’s Funeral & Cremation Service.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes gifts to Cumberland Community Foundation (PO Box 2345, Fayetteville, NC 28302) for the Jay Bolder Endowment for Music at South View High School, an endowment created to continue his legacy.
