Mr. Jermie Parker was born on October 15, 1969 in Pageland, South Carolina to David and Geretha Parker. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Novant Health Care, Matthews, North Carolina.
He joined Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Waxhaw, North Carolina at a young age but later joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe, North Carolina. After answering the call of God he was licensed to preach at Antioch MBC on February 12, 2012. He later joined in fellowship with Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church in Waxhaw, North Carolina, in 2017. He served as the Associate Pastor, as well as the Adult Class Sunday School Teacher.
He owned a construction company named Parker Services and was recently employed by America's Home Place. He attended the public schools of Union County.
He loved to hunt and fish in his spare time.
He was a devoted husband, father, papa and friend. He never met a stranger. He was a common man wit a simple approach and ability to teach.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Vanessa Chambers.
Mr. Jermie Parker leaves to cherish his loving memories to his mother and father: David and Geretha Parker of Monroe, North Carolina. his wife of ten years, Melissa Parker of the home. his daughter: Hannah Hayes (Brandon) and granddaughter: Lyanna of Cullowhee, North Carolina. Four brothers: David Blount, Marvin Baker both of Marshville, North Carolina. Mickey Parker of Monroe, North Carolina and Moe Parker (Alice) of Mathews, North Carolina. and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
