Jerry Lewis Barrett, born on July 3, 1959 departed this life on January 13, 2025. He is survived by his parents John and Carrie Leak of Wingate, NC. His father was the late Jessie Kilgo. Jerry leaves behind three daughters, Tanetra Barrett (Tiffanie), Daresha Barrett and Latisha Barrett; three grandchildren, Ariyana, Amari and Laiklen; three sisters, Ginger Ridley (Philip), Angela Jones (Patrick), and Alfreda Green (Zack), one brother, John Leak, Jr. (Sonia); his fiancée, Shirley Raley, a host of nieces and nephews, his beloved extended family and close friends. Jerry will always be remembered for his humor personality, his warm smile and soulful laughter that filled our hearts.
