Larry Howard Byrum was born on September 20, 1962, in Monroe, North Carolina, to Howard Clyburn and the late Frankie Mae Byrum. He peacefully transitioned from this life on January 28, 2026, at Atrium Hospital in Monroe, NC.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frankie Mae Byrum; his sister, Theresa Massey; his son, Bobby Byrum; his brother, Baris Byrum; and his uncle, Louis Davis, and aunt, Selma
Davis, who lovingly helped raise him. Larry graduated from Sun Valley High School and built a life rooted in hard work, dedication, and the relationships he formed along the way. After 40 years of service, he retired from Family Dollar Warehouse. He also owned and operated Frankie B Lawn Care, a business that reflected his love for the outdoors and pride in providing honest, dependable work while caring for the land.
