Ms. Lee Cannon Walls Hamilton, known to her family as Lily Bell, was born on April 19th, 1929, in Union County, NC. She departed this earthly life into her eternal heavenly home on May 2nd 2026.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Clayton Walls and Addie Blount Walls. Lee was preceded in death by her two daughters, Norma Jean Walls and Margaret Walls, and two sons, Henry G Walls and Donnie L Walls. Lee Cannon worked for many years as the head baker (cook) at Union County Memorial Hospital. Lee Cannon was an active member of Antioch Baptist until her illness. She loved to sing and dance. Lee Cannon was the family matriarch and loved everyone that came into her presence. She had a love for cooking and did it very well. Lee would feed anyone that would visit her, and it gave her joy. Lee loved gospel singing. She had a special love for her children & family. Lee’s advice to her children was “Take care and look out for one another.”
