Mrs. Leo Griffin Garmon, daughter of the late Fairley and Julia Taylor Hamilton was born September 28, 1921 in Union County, North Carolina. And departed this life on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Autumn Care of Marshville, NC,

She was preceded in death by two son: Freeman Garmon, Curlie Mac Garmon, six daughters:  Thelma McClendon, Sarah Huntley, Ruth Garmon, Margaret Gramon, Willie Mae Garmon and Bessie Garmon.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories: Son: William Haywood Garmon, Jr. of Wingate, North Carolina. Daughters: Ms. Lois Sturdivant, Mrs. Rosa McClendon (James) and Mrs. Paulette Blakeney (Joseph) of Marshville, North Carolina. Sister: Mrs. Valentine Griffin of Wingate, North Carolina. Twenty-one grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends
