Lessie Brace Croutch

Mrs. Lessie Brace Croutch daughter of the late Lester Howie and Myrtle Brace was  born in Union County, North Carolina on May 12, 1936. She exchanged time for eternity on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

She was married to the late R.Z. Croutch for more than fifty years. To this union six children were born in which two preceded her in death: Rosaland Croutch and Vernon Croutch.

She was a faithful Deaconess of Union Chapel Baptist Church for over sixty years. She was a member of Union Chapel Senior Choir, Pastor's Aide and Missionary.

She leaves cherish her fond and loving memories: Son: Reverend Michael Croutch (Bridget) of Lancaster, South Carolina. Daughters: Harriett Croutch of Monroe, North Carolina, Karen McLean of Lancaster, South Carolina and Tammy Carter (Jeffrey) of Charlotte, North Carolina. Ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Three brothers: Curtis  Brace (Cyndi), Larry Brace and  Ronald Brace all of Washington, D.C.  Two sisters  Mrs. Hattie Redfern (Herbert) of Charlotte, North Carolina and Ms. Hazel Brace of Washington, D.C. A host of brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
