Mr. Matthew J. Rorie, son of the late Matthew Rorie, Sr. and Glennie Rorie was born August 23, 1946 in Union County, North Carolina. And departed this life on Friday, may 8, 2020 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, daughter: Carol Rorie, brother: James Lee Mack Chambers and sister: Shirley Ann Chambers.

He leaves to mourn his passing his sons: Fredrick Rorie and Glenn Rorie of Charlotte, North Carolina. Brothers: Rev. Denny Chambers of Monroe, North Carolina and Rev. Douglas Chambers of Lancaster, South Carolina. Sisters: Mrs. Diane Wright and Ms. Claudette Chambers of Monroe, North Carolina. four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
