Minnie Neal Campbell was born February 6, 1935 in Waxhaw, North Carolina to the late Richard L. Campbell and the late Nettie Mobley Campbell. On the morning of Wednesday, December 8, 2021. She grasped God’s hand and exchanged her earthly home for her heavenly home.
She was preceded in death by four sisters: Eva C. Mobley, Alberta J. Campbell, Naomi Campbell and Rachel E. Campbell; two brothers: Richard L. Campbell, Jr. and Johnny C. Campbell.
Minnie attended and graduated from Western Union High School in 1955, in Waxhaw, North Carolina. At an early age she accepted Christ and became a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She served on the Missionary Department. Minnie was a loving and kind person and she was loved.
She leaves to cherish a legacy of love and memories to be cherished by a devoted and loving daughter: Sherry DeBerry; son-in-law: Harry DeBerry of Monroe, North Carolina; nieces: Carolyn C. Caldwell, Marilyn C. Glenn, Teresa Campbell, Valerie Hood and Tiffany Campbell; nephews: Calvin Campbell, Richard Campbell, Terrence Campbell (Natasha) and Rodney Blake (Catherine Evette); two special great nieces: Princess Campbell and Precious Campbell; one special great-great nephew: Shaleek Campbell; sister-in-law: Yvonne Campbell of Waxhaw, North Carolina and a host of devoted great nieces and great nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
