He is survived by his children: Logan Maurice Rushing of Wingate, NC and Leah Kathleen Rushing of Spartanburg, SC. His sisters: Carol Ismael of Monroe, NC, Avis Huntley (Garry), Sarah Rushing Robinson (Mickey) both of Marshville, NC, and Patricia Thompson of Aiken, SC. His brothers: Jimmy Rushing of Charlotte, NC, and Scotty Rushing (Susan) of Marshvillle, NC.
