He was a truck driver for S. V . Group.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories: His wife: Mrs. Phyllis Kirkpatrick Swaringer of the home. Son: Ronald O' Gene Swaringer of Charlotte, North Carolina. His mother: Mrs. Marilyn Murphy Swaringer of Charlotte, North Carolina. Sisters: Mrs. Valencia Guest (Gary) and Ms. Ernestine "Tina" Brice of Charlotte, North Carolina. Father-in-law: John Kirkpatrick of Marshville, North Carolina. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
