Sarah Morrow Hayden was born on October 2, 1952, in Union County, North Carolina, to the
late Robert L. Morrow and Gladys McKinney Morrow. She peacefully departed this life on
October 13, 2025, at Atrium Health Hospice & Palliative Care Union .
Sarah was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maurice Hayden. She was the “knee
baby” of six children. Among her siblings, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert
L. Morrow Jr.(Roswita).
