Mrs. Susie Hamilton Ricketts, daughter of the late Thomas and Ada Sellers Hamilton was born September 13, 1939 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina and departed this life on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Matthews Novant Medical Center in Matthews, North Carolina.

Susie was a graduate of Petersburg High School in Pageland, South Carolina.

Susie was preceded in death by her husband: James Charles Ricketts and brother: Pete Hamilton.

She leaves to cherish memories: Daughters: Cheryl Leak and Sandra Leak of the home. Brothers: V.L. Hamilton and Jerry Hamilton of Charlotte, North Carolina. Sisters: Mrs. Mary Austin (Lyndell), Linda Bowman, Ethel Blackmon and Louzetta Baker all of Charlotte, North Carolina. two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
