Sylvester Henry Clay Collins Jr. 73, son of the late Henry Clay Collins Sr. and Lillie Mae Crowder, departed this life on Wednesday June 2, 2021 at Atrium Health Union in Monroe, NC.  He leaves to mourn his death his sons: Donald Rushing (Jackie) of Marshville, NC, Sylvester "Chucky" Rushing (Renea) of Wadesboro, NC, Michael Collins (Barbara) of Monroe NC, Odell Rushing, and Henry Collins both of Peachland, NC; daughters: Patricia Blakeney (Willie) and Deturia Medlin, both of Wingate, NC, Jeannette Collins and Shernetier Collins (Mark) both of Peachland, NC; brothers: Cecil Collins (Patricia) of Alabama and Woodrow Collins of Peachland, NC; sisters: Bernice Covington (Mott) of Waxhaw, NC, Brenda Lee (Aaron) of Charlotte, NC, and Ollie Polk of Peachland, NC, and 17 grandchildren.
