TreShun Wynn Obituary

Mr. Tre’Shun DeVante Wynn was born on August 01, 1995 in Union County, North Carolina . He was a beautiful son to Rodney & Tracy Wynn of Monroe, North Carolina. Tre’Shun was a fun, loving, hard working, athletic young man who loved God dearly & a passion of learning & understandings more about his faith daily. He truly loved his family & friends dearly!

Tre’Shun was a cherished son, father, brother, friend, and a light in the lives of all who knew him. From the very beginning, he brought joy, laughter, and love into our family. His smile could brighten the darkest days, and his heart was full of kindness and compassion.

He had a passion for all sports, and he especially loved football. He was the 2014 Union County Football Player of the Year and the 2014 Shriner’s Game Participant. He was selected as a Four Year all county and all conference football, basketball and track. He was also a candidate for the Big 22 Player of the year. Tre’Shun was a Summa Cum Laude Graduate of Monroe High School. He attended the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Whether he was on the field, in the classroom or simply spending time with those he loved, he lived with a spirit that touched everyone around him.

Above all, Tre’Shun will be remembered for his gentle heart, strong determination, sense of humor, and generosity. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for. His memory will forever live on in the stories we share, the lessons he taught us, and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his loving parents, Rodney and Tracy Wynn, a daughter Nylah Wynn, two sisters Jasmine Wynn and Myia Wynn Two brothers Douglas Carelock and Rodney Wynn Jr. and three bonus brothers Travis White, Jermaine Long and Jermany Hammond. Grandmother Elpositer Hood, Grandfather Othar Wynn, and Roy Hood. Aunts Jeanette Blakeney, Teywonia Byrd, and April Hood. Uncles Everette Wynn, Corey Wynn, Othar Wynn Jr, David Byrd, Willie Clyburn, Nathan Sanders, and Corey Featherson. Nephews LJ Wynn, KJ and Que Huntley, and niece Blessings Carelock. Tre’Shun was preceded in death by his grandmother Sally Joe Byrd, Aunt Lisa Blakeney, nephew Zuh’Mauriel Horne. Special Childhood friends, Trabazz Bruce, Qualen Blakeney, Jalen Witherspoon, & cousin, who was more like his brother Jalen Walker and a host of other relatives and many friends who meant a lot to him.

Though our hearts ache beyond words, we are grateful for the time we had with our precious son. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. May his light shine through you all. Long lived TWynn!
