Vera (Clyburn) Mungo

Mrs. Vera Clyburn Mungo, the daughter of the late Elmo and Bertha Wright Clyburn was born September 30, 1925 in Lancaster County, South Carolina and departed this life on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Pruitt Health Center in Monroe, North Carolina. 

Ms. Vera joined St. Paul Baptist Church in Lancaster, South Carolina at an early age.

Ms. Vera was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Ms. Vera was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by her family. Ms. Vera had a love for flowers. She had a knack for growing beautiful flowers.

Ms. Vera leaves to cherish her loving memories her Daughter: Mrs. Anna Fisher (Chris) of Monroe, North Carolina; Brother: Frontis Clyburn of Monroe, North Carolina; Granddaughter: Charlene Simpson and Grandson: Mark Simpson of Charlotte, North Carolina; Great-grandchildren: Corey Simpson and Todd Simpson of Charlotte, North Carolina; four nieces, three nephews, four sister-in-laws and a host of other relatives and friends.
