Vincent Arnell ("ManMan" aka "Super Man") Guy, Jr.

Vincent Arnell Guy, Jr. son of Vincent A. Guy, Sr. and NeKeshia D. Horton was born October 20, 1996 in Monroe, North Carolina. He departed to be with the Lord on May 26, 2020 in Waxhaw ,North Carolina.

Known to us all as "ManMan" aka "Super Man" accepted Christ at an early age and attended Marvin  A.M.E. Zion Church in Waxhaw, North Carolina. 

He was educated in Union and Mecklenburg County Schools. He graduated from Parkwood High School and also attended Louisburg College for bachelor's degree in Business Science..

Vincent loved life and people to the fullest. During many health struggles throughout his life he conquered each battle with humility and grace. His love for children lead him to become a children's advocated where he served as council for Levine's Children Hospital. Vincent also spoke for "Kids of America" at the white House for children's insurance t=rights and equality. Baseball was his passions and he was able to play and love the game for over sixteen years. He was affectionately given the name "Super Man" by many children hospitalized at Levine's Children Hospital. Starting a nonprofit group called "Vinnie & Friends" was his desire and will continue to thrive in his name.

Vincent has been gainfully employed at FedEx MEARS Group Inc. and  SEC Inc. 

He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Bonita Payton Guy.

Left to cherish these fond memories are his father: Vincent A. Guy, Sr. (Angela Myers) of Charlotte, North Carolina.. Mother: Ms. NeKeshia D. Horton of Waxhaw, North Carolina. Brothers: Jared A. Guy and Darius R. Horton. Sisters: Bianca L .Nix, Diamond R. Horton, Danyelle R. Horton and  Lelia P. Guy. Grandparents: Willie E. Guy, Sr., Edward Arthur Walker (Sid), Willette Walker, Hollis J. Clyburn, Godmother: Rev. Robin Houston Stitt and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
