My Family chose Blakely's for my father homegoing. the compassion that was shown and the care was remarkable, the staff was very professional. My father looked amazing very dignified.. as he was. I had all types of request and things I wanted Mr. Chandler and his staff made sure that we had smiles on our face and that every request was taken into consideration. Many thanks to Ms. Mary Blakely (owner and president) who exuded a calming, composed, quintessential and consummate professional, respectful, warm and friendly demeanor towards my family. Her experience and knowledge was and is impeccable, having been able and being able to answer every question (and I had many) with keen and dutiful integrity and probity.. Ms. Mary was patient, poised and allowed me to make final decisions with no stress or pressure. . The Blakely staff was equally gracious, refined and respectful. They all went above and beyond in their compassion, understanding, interest and sensitivity for such a tender situation as the passing of a loved one, and in particular, my brother, Mr. Christopher Douglas Johnson. Every member of the Blakely organization exhibited excellence in EVERY aspect of the process, from initial inquiries to arrangements and orders, times, dates, etc.... I thank you . My sister, Ms. Candace Johnson thanks you for helping to celebrate and salute my brother, Mr. Christopher Johnson nobly, venerably and with the highest regard for the triumph of the human spirit, victory and good success that my brother emanated, in life, that was recognized in his homegoing celebratory salute and tribute. While reflecting on all of the happy and joyful moments that Louis brought into my life, and the lives of others, the love, his extraordinary singing voice, and the laughter and funny antics which he brought to all our lives, I will forever hold those thoughts in my heart and mind.
